Summary: Seven men are applying for a new job at a bar as escorts (or hosts). Little do they know that this is all a scam designed to steal people’s money. When they do find out, it’s too late and the fake owner has run away with their money. The “real” owner and his granddaughter feel remorseful and they decide to give the bar to the seven men. The “seven dwarfs” turn the place around by renovating and practicing their charm in order to attract female customers. They decide to raise money for the granddaughter, Chika (Riko Narumi) for a heart surgery. To do this, Ryohei (Oguri Shun) makes a bet with an office lady that he and his friends will be able to satisfy her and her friends.
Impression: I was really disappointed with the ending. The only lesson learned was friendship…and that was over-emphasized. Yes, they became great friends (and there are some really good scenes with the 7 of them having a good time…I liked those), but their friendship seems really sudden. There was no character development and the plot was weak. Yes, each character has his own personality, but they didn’t change much. I wish you got to see more of their past life. Maybe they should make it into a tv series. That would be cool…after their summer adventures. I wonder if Ryohei ever fulfilled his dream. On the positive note, they had some entertaining points…but it was entertaining because it was so CHEESY. I actually winced at some parts. Oguri Shun got better, as an actor, so I liked that, too. Also, Toshinbou Matsuo is cute! He’s the kind one
Overall, an entertaining movie…it just has a very bitter taste when the movie is finished.

yeah…the ending was really dissappointed. this movie actually made me excited to watch it because of ryoji morimoto, yusuke kirishima & shun ogari. the director must think about the plot development as well. however all the actors done their job very well=)

Can someone please tell me the ending becuase I’m a bit confused, it doens’t feel like it’s quite finished yet?
I watched the movie on YouTube (to see if it was worth my money) and it seems to have ended where the boss comes back and the money is gone with the theives.

Yup. that’s the ending. There’s like 5-10 minutes after where they get angry and then they talk about what a great summer it was. I’m not sure if Youtube was missing anything, but you can watch the whole movie on mysoju.com.
