I also really like Hiroshi Abe (her dad). Recently (well, not that recently, but in the past year), I've seen each of them in a comedy drama. So different from their characters in this movie, but they're so good at acting! Hiroshi Tamaki in Nodame Cantabile, Harauka Ayase in Hotaru no Hikari and Hiroshi Abe in Kekkon Dekinai Otoko. Not new dramas, but I haven't seen them until now. I can't think of any other movies like this one...maybe Taiwanese movie Secret (pretty dramatic, but good movie and ending...if you like time traveling movies). The leads are such good actors.
