Summary: Police officer Yeo Kyung Jin (Jun Ji Hyun) and Ko Myung Woo (Jang Hyeok) first meet when she mistakes him for a thief. Myung Woo is a soft-spoken high school teacher who does everything to avoid conflict. Kyung Jin is a strong-willed, outspoken, adventure seeker. They end up dating and going on a roadtrip together. On this trip, Myung Woo reveals that he wants to become the wind in his next life. Little does he know that that life is coming up really soon. Myung Woo ends up dying in a shootout and Kyung Jin is devastated because she thinks she killed Myung Woo. Myung Woo comes back as the wind and stays with her until the 49th day (like the fairy tale/legend). The promises that when he whispers to her, she will meet a man with the same soul as him. True to his word, a season later, she meets a man at the train station.
Impression: This is my favourite movie so far! I love how it crosses so many genres, but it’s still a romance. I’m so sorry I ruined the ending! But it had to be done otherwise I couldn’t have written all I wanted to. I liked the scenes because they were so pretty. Although there’s nothing particularly special about the story, I liked the little elements (windmills, wind, the colours of her apartment, the paper airplane). It was all beautifully done. I thought the characters had good chemistry and I enjoyed the fighting parts, too. I could watch this movie forever
